The Lighthouse Diner

A blinking light over the next ridge looks like the beam of a lighthouse. It’s actually a broken sign light, pointing sideways, swaying in the breeze. To local residents, it’s a “lighthouse” in West Virginia!

A lighthouse represents hope and three 20-something friends could use a little hope. Chad, Jeff and Bev team up to make a go at The Lighthouse Diner in the hills of West Virginia. The fledging diner draws a wacky cast of customers with hopes and dreams of their own.

David Major weaves friendship and wit into issues like racism, abuse, and prejudice. Along the way the three friends discover hope and love.

You’ll laugh and cry your way through this compelling story flavored with hillbilly quips where real life happens and you never know what to expect next.
