About the Author

Award-winning author David Major returned to his roots to write a story about the landlocked, third-world country known as West Virginia. The character of its people, the grandeur of its hills, and the unique challenges of the area beg to be told.

David lives in Glen Allen, Virginia. He has three daughters and four grandchildren.

He did have a beloved Great Pyrenees, Teddy Bear. While he may be gone, he lives in this story as a fourth main character. Teddy shows that a dog knows who is a friend, who is not, and what to do about it. After reading the story, you will know Teddy personally.
